NewsFactor – IBM and Canonical have introduced a desktop computing package for enterprise PCs, laptops and low-cost netbooks. Called the IBM Client for Smart Work, the new cloud-based computing platform integrates IBM productivity and collaboration software with Canonical’s Ubuntu operating system.
